Paypal and eBay conveniently blame each other

Paypal invoiced me for a charge I did not accrue on ebay and would not refund it as they said it was genuine. Someone hacked into my paypal account and linked another ebay account to it. Since you cannot see which ebay accounts are linked to your paypal account, it is a relatively easy fraud. I spent over 3 hours on the phone to paypal and ebay and both said it was a problem with the other! In the end ebay said there was nothing they could do, despite the fact I’d been an ebay/paypal customer for over 8 years! I will never use paypal again and am not sure over whether to use ebay…
